Black History Month


Engine London wanted to highlight young black excellence by turning Black History Month into Black Future Month.

This was to be the first black history month since the BLM protests, so we decided that the tone of voice needed be bold, unapologetic, and proud: ‘The future’s bright, the future’s black’



The tagline was not only a show of support for the movement, but an acknowledgement that black culture is the driving force of mainstream media, creating trends that the rest of the world jump on. (It was a big year for hot girl summer)
